Another day, another walk.
And more strange experiences with birds. This time, two magpies fighting in a tangled ball of feathers falling to within a few feet. A third watched on, chastising.
The dunnocks and blue tits think it's spring. They are courting.
And, having finished Chloe Dalton's wonderful Hare Raising, I saw a hare. Whom you may spot in this slideshow.
Sadly, I deleted most of today's videos - I had some lovely pictures of the blackbird and the moon as well as Tane singing. Happily, I had already saved the videos of subsong.
More and more I realise that I do not need anything beyond the given (what I experience with my senses) to fuel the feeling of awe and wonder. To be in love with a person, you do not need to believe in Gods or spirits, nonduality or panpsychism. The same stands when in love with the more-than-human world.
Beautiful images - that big one of Tane and all of the images, the slide show .... And yes I spied the hare 🙂 ps I was just reading about Raising Hare ... and I want to read it ...
