Does anyone know which way to go?

I'm writing this ahead of a night of working from home. The plan is that they... or rather 'They'... send me the rough scripts and videos. I edit the scripts and send them back. They send the scripts to the Stat-Man who sees if they are correct and sends them back to Them or to me. If sent to Them, They send them to me. Then I voice the scripts and send the audio files to Them - after checking that the audio does definitely fit with the video and having extracted the unwanted mistakes or cat mews. I will need to voice in between cloud bursts in case the rain ion the roof is audible on the recording.

In theory, this is all fine. But, it's my first time doing this and I am anxious. When I have sent audio before - and I do it regularly - there is a teeny bit more flexibility and rather more time. This show airs tonight. And I don't have anything at all yet.

The cats could make it challenging. As could the rain. As could my anxiety. As could the sudden one-off failure of my wi-fi.

This all adds to a low level anxiety about the fuel crisis. There is no diesel in any of the petrol stations. No petrol either, come to that. Lack of lorry drivers, apparently - and people panic-buying last Friday. It's the toilet roll thing all over again. Shelves in supermarkets are also emptier and apparently Christmas will be crap as no one can deliver anything.

I have enough fuel to get to and from work on Friday but not on Saturday. Apparently, my local petrol station is expecting a delivery tomorrow - and stupid crazy queues as people fill up again. Of course, I need to be in the queue. So I'll be part of the problem.

Well, let's hope things work out. They will somehow. Even a disatster is things working out. Just not the way one wants them to.
