Oh darn.
Just come across something else I'd like to do.
I would like to be an intern with the Kerulos Centre.
As it happens, instead of pursuing animal-related research today I cleaned the house, went to the gym and rewrote eleven scripts about Italian football.
I wrote a piece for a newsletter. I visited the crows - it was very windy and they had to hunker-down to avoid getting blown away. They are jittery in the wind. The seagulls stole their food. Like when the jays steal peanuts, the crows don't get as angry with the seagulls as with other crows.
I sat at my new desk on my new chair for quite a long time. It was very comfortable. Though rather cold. Better when I wrapped myself in a blanket.
I bought better gloves for volunteering and handwarmers.
I discovered that the new season of The Last Kingdom won't be released until next year. This was depressing.
So far, I have failed to write birthday cards (three - one already two weeks late) and refill the washing up liquid thingummy.
God, I am boring myself.
