Or at least, I thought it was, but I don't seem able to track that memory down, or indeed find the story in which weasels featured.
These foxgloves are in a cleared area of Christie's Copse on the Reserve. I did see stoats here twice and thought I saw a weasel not far away. This is also where I saw a hare, and its form, and, on another occasion, a fox and a roe deer. This time, as you will see from the video, I saw a muntjac. Not on the video are the possible hare and fox cub sightings.
There is also a section, rather wobbly, of the swifts catching insects above the water.
But really, it's the foxgloves and the bees that captured me.
Lovely. The foxgloves are so well designed for bee visits. And the swifts are busy eating on the wing!
